Look at me getting all Pretty Retro!

I’ve had a lot of weddings this year which has meant a lot of different outfits because I can’t be seen in the same outfit twice right? The last shindig I went to was a pretty special one too, as I got to stand up & do a reading at my lovely friends Roxanne & John’s ceremony at Manchester Town Hall. Luckily I was offered a gorgeous new dress to review which worked out perfectly for my outfit dilemma!

The dress I chose to wear was the Retro Swing Dress in Red by new brand Pretty Retro. They’re the sister brand to The House of Foxy & I’ll be totally honest, you’d be hard pushed to tell the difference between this dress & their higher end stuff.

The blurb on their website reads…

“The fit on this dress creates a classic vintage 40s/50s silhouette. Pleated above and below bust emphasises ones assets and waist panel creates a further ‘nipped in’ look”

I can confirm that ones’ assets were DEFINITLEY emphasised, my boobs looked amazing in this frock & the fit is just beautiful. I also got lots of compliments on the cute sleeves too. There is lots of attention to detail in this dress & at just £59 I think it’s pretty bargainous too! Although their collection is currently limited to dresses, skirts & some fabulous swing dresses, I hear that there is BIG plans in the pipeline for this brand so Pretty Retro is certainly one to watch when updating your wardrobe this year!
